A Chinese-American legend who won consecutive WSOP Main Events in 1987 and 1988 and nearly took a third in 1989, Chan was immortalized in the film Rounders, in which he plays himself bluffing Matt Damon's character. His nickname 'The Orient Express' came from his fast, relentless winning at the tables.
