About

A foundational figure of the game, Moss was named the very first World Series of Poker champion in 1970 by a vote of his fellow players, then won the Main Event outright in 1971 and 1974. Known as 'The Grand Old Man of Poker,' he was among the inaugural class inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame.
