Common questions
- Who won EPT Monte Carlo in 2026?

- What is the biggest EPT Grand Final prize?
- €2,300,000, won by Pieter de Korver in 2009, at the height of the poker boom.
- Is EPT Monte Carlo the same as the EPT Grand Final?
- EPT Monte Carlo is its successor. From 2005 to 2016 the season-ending EPT main event was the Grand Final — in Monte Carlo every year except 2011, when it moved to Madrid. In 2017 it ran as PokerStars Championship Monte Carlo. Since the EPT brand returned in 2018 the Monte Carlo main event has been the tour's flagship spring stop, though no longer the last of the season.
- Has anyone won the EPT Grand Final twice?
- No. Nobody has won the Grand Final or EPT Monte Carlo main event more than once.
- Which EPT Grand Final winners also won poker's Triple Crown?
- Gavin Griffin (2007) and Mohsin Charania (2012) used their Grand Final wins as the EPT leg of the Triple Crown. Mike Watson won EPT Monte Carlo in 2023, after his Triple Crown's EPT leg in the Bahamas in 2016.
